Sorry for having to get down to the basics of caravanning and we promise to keep it minimal, but it's important to protect your investment, so we have put together a few suggestions, which we will add to from time to time, to keep your caravan in tip top shape.
1) If your going to leave your caravan unused for any extended period of time I would definitely recommend putting in several of the following moisture traps.

I have personally used these myself and you would be amazed just how much water they can absorb, a far better option than finding surfaces and fabrics damp and musty especially when the weather finally improves and we get the chance to venture out on the years first cool caravan trip.
2) Awnings rails. Question, have you ever found yourself struggling on a hot day to slide the awning into the awning rail? I have, and it can be simply avoided with a simple trick of spraying, with care, some furniture polish into the rail. Trust me it works and will now take you a fraction of the time - but you will still rightfully deserve a cold beverage after your efforts.
